It reminds me that we essentially discover a whole new part of us when we form a new relationship. And having a child turns you into a father, where you are put in a role and in circumstances where you are forced to choose who you want to be.
On the spiritual path, everything is a sign of God’s beauty and majesty. If we are sincere, humble, and attentive then we can learn from everything and everyone.
Like an inverse relationship, the more we humble ourselves and submit to God, the more obvious He makes truth and the reality of this world. And the more we serve ourselves and submit to our own desires, the more deluded and blind we become.
